Gibbons to Hold Its 15th Annual E-Discovery Conference

Gibbons P.C. will hold its 15th Annual E-Discovery Conference on Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., at The Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, New Jersey. Please note that this event is closed to attorneys in private practice.

The conference will comprise informative sessions featuring Gibbons attorneys and administrators with extensive knowledge of and experience in e-discovery, along with guest panelists who include general counsel, e-discovery consultants, mediators and arbitrators, and more. The Gibbons E-Discovery Task Force is co-chaired by Mark S. Sidoti and Caroline E. Oks.

Sessions will focus on:

  • Attorneys’ shared responsibilities with their clients to understand ESI
  • Understanding of discovery as it relates to emerging data sources
  • New ways of handling structured data in discovery
  • The role of special masters and examiners in e-discovery

The timely keynote address, “Emerging Issues with AI & the Law,” will be presented by Maura R. Grossman, J.D., Ph.D. Ms. Grossman is a well-known and influential e-discovery expert whose scholarly work on TAR has been widely cited in case law, both in the U.S. and abroad, and whose longstanding contributions to e-discovery technology and process have been featured in The American Lawyer and ABA Journal.

Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served. This conference has been approved for 6.0 hours of CLE credit in New Jersey and New York, including 1.0 credit hour toward each state’s Ethics requirement.
