Patent Litigation at the ITC: Views from the Government, In-House Attorneys and Outside Counsel

On April 26, the Gibbons Institute of Law, Science & Technology, Seton Hall University School of Law, and the New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association will present, “Patent Litigation at the ITC: Views from the Government, In-House Attorneys and Outside Counsel.” Throughout the afternoon, two panels comprised of various government officials and in-house counsel will come together to share their views on patent litigation and how it is approached in their specific practice areas.

Gibbons Apprenticeship Program Featured in Seton Hall Law at Work

The Gibbons Apprenticeship Program has been featured in the first edition of Seton Hall Law At Work. This new series takes a look at innovative working arrangements between employers and graduates of the Seton Hall University School of Law. This article focuses on the Gibbons Apprenticeship Program, a client-focused attorney recruitment and development platform that exposes recent law school graduates to the day-to-day responsibilities of law firm junior associates and trains them in a “real world” law firm environment.

“Cybersecurity Law and Policy: Changing Paradigms and New Challenges” is an all-day conference featuring seven break-out sessions and over 35 speakers and panelists. This seminar is part of the Cybersecurity Law Project, a collaboration between the Gibbons Institute of Law, Science & Technology at Seton Hall Law School, Rutgers School of Law-Newark, and the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, which promotes specialized legal training in the emerging area of cybersecurity law to law students and practicing attorneys.

The Gibbons Institute of Law, Science & Technology, Seton Hall University School of Law, and New Jersey Intellectual Property Law Association present, “The Future of America’s Innovation Economy – Progress and Challenges at the USPTO,” event featuring David Kappos, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the USPTO, and Q. Todd Dickinson, Former Director of the USPTO and the current Executive Director of the AIPLA. This event will be held at Gibbons Newark office (One Gateway Center, 21st floor) on Wednesday, February 23, at 4:00 pm. CLE credits for New York and New Jersey will be offered, with pending approval for Pennsylvania credits. The cost to attend this event is $25 and includes CLE credits, food and beverage.
